Pretty Baa-Lambs, Ford Maddox Brown, 1851-1859

This card features the painting by Pre-Raphaelite artist, Ford Maddox Brown. He paints an outdoor figurative painting of his second wife, Emma Hill and their daughter, Catherine, in 1851, at their home in Stockwell. He wanted to depict on canvas the effect of bright sunlight exactly as he found it, in nature.
