Aston Hall Guidebook
This guidebook is a great read about one of the countries last great Jacobean houses built in Birmingham. Aston Hall, part of Birmingham Museums Trust, is a listed grade I building; a magnificent seventeenth-century red-brick mansion situated in a picturesque public park on the north side of Birmingham.
Built for Sir Thomas Holte between 1618 and 1635 and home to James Watt Junior from 1817-1848, Aston Hall is steeped in history. The house sits in a large park, part of which became Villa Park, the home ground of the Aston Villa football club.
A book of splendour, based on Birmingham’s most popular place to visit, with stunning interiors and formal gardens.
A highly recommended book, about one of the country’s top visitor attractions.
The guide contains 74 pages and measures 29.7x21.1x0.7 cm.
