Pheidas and the Frieze of Partherion Card
Send a special person a piece of art. This card is based on art by Alma-Tadema. He first saw the Elgin marbles from the Parthenon at the British Museum in 1862. This picture depicts an imagined scene in which the sculptor Pheidias shows his work to the important Athenians, including leader Pericles.
