Staffordshire Hoard inspired Clotted Cream Shortbread
This souvenir tube of clotted cream shortbread (originating from a medieval recipe ‘biscuit bread’) is made with thick cream and is rich and buttery in taste.
Not only the nations favourite, but also regarded as the perfect dunking biscuit.
The tin features the folded cross, part of the Staffordshire Hoard collection on display at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, part of Birmingham Museums Trust.
The shortbread contain wheat flour, butter, sugar, Cornish clotted cream and salt. It is suitable for vegetarians.
