Dig, discover and marvel at the real fossils you will find inside this plaster block. Shark teeth, stone corals, Atrypa shells, snails and an amber, are all hidden under the surface.

The experiment set contains a hammer, chisel and sponge. Simply moisten the plaster and your journey into times long past can begin.

Using hammers and chisels, little prehistoric researchers carefully dig through the different layers of plaster.

The colourful instructions explain to the children how best to proceed with their explorations and answer many questions that arise when playing around the topic of fossils. They also explain the best technique for excavating and reveal interesting facts about fossils, as well as the work of a prehistoric researcher.
